Calendar Girl is an LP album by Julie London, released by Liberty Records under catalog number SL-9002 in 1956. In keeping with the title, each of the first twelve tracks had a month in its title, completing the album with a song entitled Thirteenth Month. Julie London Nancy Peck, September 26, 1926 October 18, 2000 was an American jazz and pop singer and actress. She was noted for her smoky, sensual voice and languid demeanor. She released 32 albums of pop and jazz standards during the 1950s and 1960s, with her signature song being the classic Cry Me a River, which she introduced in 1955. CALENDAR GIRL was Julie's 3rd album for Liberty preceded by Julie Is Her Name vol. 1, and Lonely Girl and her 2nd concept album Lonely Girl being her first which would become one of her trademarks. Calendar Girl was released in May of 1956 and was produced by soon to be husband Bobby Troup singersongwriter and pianist. Julie had just gone through a devastating divorce from actorproducer Jack Webb.
