Found a used copy at my local record store and it sounds amazing! Great job on this reissue.
Mr_Jeйson
Totally agree with MEIIODrRnE- first song i was about ready to take it right back PO'd, thankfully things improved. Wonder why rhyming & Stealin so horrible?
Faell
I think it might be that they are sampling drums from Led Zeppelin's "When The Levee Breaks" which does not have the deep bass you hear on the rest of the album. I'm very familiar with the drum track and it's original sound so the lack of bass was something I never really thought about. However, the rest of the album has fantastic lows and bass.
shustrik
Rhymin & Stealin didn't sound good so I was a little worried, it sounded cold and thin and there was no bass or punch. But The New Style sounded a lot better with the drums and bass being more prominent and the vocals having more warmth. The rest of the record sounds great, super full sounding, vocals sit well in the mix. By the time Slow Ride comes on...oh wow, great sounding track. It's just the first song that didn't sound good to me for some reason. Great reissue tho. Excellent pressing quality from Pallas, no flaws, no surface noise whatsoever. This is how a reissue should be done: ace remastering, exceptional pressing quality and a hell of a deal.

Ichalote

Thetalen

Authis
This is an excellent sounding reissue. I highly recommend it.
FEISKO
This record sounds great I have listened to it 10+ times since I got it I am hearing things I never heard before deep bass nice reverbs echos are good too can hear the voices very clear can even hear some studio sounds like wall reverb from vocal booth the mix is really good well balanced this puts the cd to shame for dynamic range
adventure time
I never owned a vinyl copy before but way better than the cd...
Mojind
Is it better than the original LP press or about the same?
Kulafyn
Fantastic reissue on heavy vinyl. Nice and quiet where it should be, dynamic, bass and balance is just right. Kinda struck me as odd since it's on Def Jam instead of Grand Royal, guess this album predated GR.
Reighbyra
yes this was before they left def jam and went to capitol Paul's boutique was on capitol before GR
Dellevar
Pressed at Pallas USA, looks like Ron McMaster cut it from the deadwax on my copy.
Kazimi
Howie Weinberg mastered the original. Doubtful he had anything directly to do with the reissue.
Tuliancel
Same with this one, it's a reissue not a remaster.edit: To clarify it's the same master, not like he did it again.
Pemand
Some of this run out info is incorrect. Possibly all of it. This reissue just came out.
